Welcome to the website of the
Jewish Community of Oudtshoorn

The town of Oudtshoorn will ever be connected with ostriches. It is about 55 km from the coastal town of George and halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. It is semi-arid with warm and dry summers and sunny winter days. Ideal for rearing ostriches.
